| My Georgia Southern email account | Do not contact me using my Georgia Southern account for the duration of this course unless you have an emergency. If you need to contact me via email, please contact me via the WebCT email account in this course. |
| WebCT email | Every student in WebCT has a WebCT email account. WebCT email is the preferred mode of communication in this class if you have questions that do not concern the whole class or a particular class topic. WebCT email only works inside the course you are taking. You cannot email someone outside of the course or in another course. |
| Discussion Tool | The discussion tool is a public forum. It looks and functions just like email, but it goes to the entire class. We will use the discussion tool (a lot) to have class discussions throughout the course. Be careful what you say to someone on the discussion too because everyone in the class will see it, and it cannot be retracted! (Discussion tool was formerly called the Bulletin Board) |
| Chat Tool | The chat tool is similar to "instant messaging." If I use the chat tool during the semester, I will announce the date and time we should meet online. |
